The Stags' Leap Audentia Cabernet Sauvignon is a remarkable wine that showcases the best qualities of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape. With its deep ruby color and enticing aromas of blackberry, cassis, and dark chocolate, this wine immediately captivates the senses. On the palate, the Audentia Cabernet Sauvignon offers a rich and velvety texture, with flavors of ripe black fruits, such as black cherry and plum, intermingled with hints of vanilla, forest floor, and cedar. The wine's well-integrated tannins provide structure and balance, while the vibrant acidity adds freshness and length to the finish. This wine is a true expression of the Stags' Leap terroir, with its unique combination of volcanic soils and cool climate. It is a testament to the winemaker's skill and dedication, as well as the exceptional quality of the grapes used in its production. The Stags' Leap Audentia Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine that can be enjoyed now, but also has the potential to age gracefully for several years. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses. Overall, it is a wine that exemplifies elegance, complexity, and finesse.

2010 vintage is past its prime. Decanted for several hours, but it didn't impress with a nice filet. The wine is acidic and tart, with black fruit that's masked by rough tannins. I prefer Audentia, but it's no longer well suited for this vintage.
Tiphaine
Rich, plush wine with a deep, concentrated purple hue, boasting a textured spice and fruit profile. The aromas are warm and inviting, with a light vanilla undertone. The tannins are mellow and refined, providing a pleasant finish. However, the wine's sophistication is somewhat tempered by its relatively short duration. Overall, a decent but not extraordinary wine.
Parke
Decadent and layered wine with undertones of oak, blackberry, and a light smokiness, making it a truly top notch experience.

Stags' Leap Audentia Cabernet Sauvignon is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with deep, plush textures and complex flavors of black fruits, forest floor, and spice. While some vintages like 2010 are seen as past their prime with rough tannins, others, such as 2018, are celebrated for their smooth finish and bold fruitiness. The wine's aging in French oak adds depth, making it a favorite for pairing with meats.
