Sierra Salinas Mira is praised for its rich, full-bodied character and complex flavor profile, featuring notes of blackberry, plum, cherry, vanilla, and oak. While some enjoy its smooth tannins and long finish, others find it slightly dry or lacking dimension. The wine's deep color and aromas of leather and spice add to its appeal, making it a versatile choice for pairing with hearty dishes.
Sierra Salinas Mira displays and opaque ruby color in the glass. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of baked black fruit and resinous dried herbs. The palate is dry, full bodied and borad with a high degree of fruit concentration, abundant chewy tannins. Everythings is held together by a balanced acidity leading to a long finish with subtle complexity in the form of coffee notes from toasted oak. This wine screams Texas style BBQ.
