Scar Of The Sea Bassi Vineyard Pinot Noir 2025

The Scar Of The Sea Bassi Vineyard Pinot Noir is noted for its warm, spicy essence and complex flavors. While some find the alcohol content overpowering, others appreciate its deep, soft structure with hints of cherry, minerality, and cedar. The wine's flinty undertones add depth, with a long, comforting finish that is both luscious and multi-faceted.

This Pinot Noir from the Bassi Vineyard showcases a captivating garnet hue, setting the stage for a bouquet of wild strawberry, black cherry, and a whisper of forest floor. On the palate, it reveals a seamless integration of fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity, creating a poised structure that supports layers of red currant, clove, and a hint of earthy minerality. The finish is long and elegant, marked by a subtle spice and a touch of dried rose petal. This wine exemplifies the finesse and complexity characteristic of coastal California Pinot Noir.
