A deep garnet hue introduces this Sandlands Zinfandel, with an expressive bouquet of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and a hint of black pepper spice. On the palate, it unfolds with a medium-bodied structure, showcasing a harmonious interplay of juicy plum and subtle anise, underscored by a vibrant acidity that lifts the fruit profile. The tannins are finely grained, providing a gentle grip that complements the wine's supple texture. The finish is long and layered, revealing nuances of dried herbs and a whisper of mineral earthiness. This Zinfandel exemplifies the restrained elegance characteristic of old-vine California expressions.

Sandlands Zinfandel is crafted from old-vine vineyards located in California's diverse terroirs, where the cooling influence of coastal breezes helps preserve acidity and balance. The wine is fermented with native yeasts in neutral vessels to emphasize the pure expression of the grape's character. Minimal intervention in the cellar allows the Zinfandel to showcase its natural fruit profile, with notes of dark berries and subtle spice. The wine is designed for those who appreciate a restrained style of Zinfandel, offering a medium-bodied structure and a refreshing finish, suitable for both immediate enjoyment and short-term cellaring.
