This robust and characterful wine from Gigondas showcases a deep garnet hue, indicative of its concentrated nature. The nose is a complex tapestry of blackcurrant, dark cherry, and garrigue herbs, underscored by hints of leather and anise. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied structure with velvety tannins and a core of ripe plum and black pepper, seamlessly balanced by a vibrant acidity. The finish is long and nuanced, with lingering notes of dried herbs and mineral undertones. This wine exemplifies the power and elegance typical of Southern Rhône, offering both immediate pleasure and aging potential.
