Crisp and lively wine with a mild herbal character, but ultimately lacking complexity and complexity. The black pepper note was a welcome surprise, but the nose was underwhelming. at the same time it may have been past its prime, it still holds up as a decent weeknight choice.

Root 1 Sauvignon Blanc Reserva is praised for its crisp, zesty character with citrus, green apple, and tropical fruit notes. Many appreciate its refreshing quality and affordability. However, some find it lacks complexity, with earthy, herbaceous, and peppery undertones occasionally overpowering. While some enjoy its vibrant acidity and clean finish, others note a lingering bitterness. Overall, it's a decent choice for casual sipping and food pairing.
