Riecine Chianti Classico 2023

Truly stellar Super Tuscan that exceeds expectations, notably the Riserva and La Gioia from the same esteemed house. The charming estate and its owners are a delight to visit. A worthwhile detour.

Rich, full-bodied wine with a deep, velvety color. The nose is clean and refined, with a soft undertone of toasted oak and a touch of vanilla. The sensation is light and elegant, with a round touch and a gentle harmony of fruit flavors. The trail is medium, with a lingering aftertaste of blueberry, blackberry, and black cherry.

Medium light red wine with a nuanced nose featuring sour cherries, stable notes, and floral undertones. The palate is lean, with demonstrative tannins and a fruity follow through that lasts for a considerable amount of time. Overall, a well-balanced and engaging wine.
