Voss Expert tasting note
On the nose, aromas of ripe blackberry and plum are complemented by hints of spice, pepper, and oak. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and jammy, with plenty of dark fruit character and a touch of sweet toasted oak.

Ridge Vineyards Paso Robles Zinfandel is praised for its rich, full-bodied character, with notes of dark fruits, spices, and well-integrated tannins. Many appreciate its smooth finish and complexity, while some vintages are noted for being past their prime. The wine pairs well with bold dishes and offers good value for its quality. However, a few find it lacks refinement or is overly fruity.
This Ridge Vineyards Paso Robles Zinfandel is a bold and daring red wine. On the nose, aromas of ripe blackberry and plum are complemented by hints of spice, pepper, and oak. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and jammy, with plenty of dark fruit character and a touch of sweet toasted oak. The tannins are firm and the finish is long and lingering. Overall, this is an excellent example of a classic California Zinfandel.
