The process of opening the bottle was a laborious task, but once it was complete, it was a worthwhile endeavor.

When a chaotic Thursday forces you to improvise, a well-chosen wine from the left fridge can be a lifesaver. This particular bottle boasts an impressive level of tannins, which explode on the palate with a full bodied plum and cassis flavor profile. The conclusion is long and dry, with a subtle layering of basil and cinnamon whispers that add richness and complexity. The throat is dry, but the trail remains smooth, making it a lively choice for a busy day. A stellar option for those in the know.

What the web is saying

Revana St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon is celebrated for its rich, full-bodied profile with flavors of blackberry, plum, and cassis. Many appreciate its smooth tannins and long, satisfying finish, while some find it unbalanced and overpriced. The wine's complexity is enhanced by notes of vanilla, chocolate, and spice, making it a favorite for special occasions. However, its high price point can deter some consumers.

Voss Experts4.5

Revana St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon is a highly regarded wine from the Napa Valley region of California. On the nose, this wine offers enticing aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and cassis, accompanied by hints of cedar, forest floor, and vanilla. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a well-integrated structure. Flavors of black fruits, such as blackcurrants and plums, mingle with notes of chocolate, espresso, and a touch of spice. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a lasting impression. The Revana St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine that can be enjoyed now, but it also has the potential to age gracefully for several years. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
