Renato Corino Arborina Barolo is a highly esteemed wine from the Barolo region in Italy. On the nose, it offers a captivating bouquet of dried roses, violets, red berries, and earthy undertones. These aromas are often accompanied by notes of tar, leather, and spices, adding further complexity to the wine. On the palate, Renato Corino Arborina Barolo showcases a harmonious balance between its firm tannins, vibrant acidity, and rich fruit flavors. The wine's structure is robust, yet refined, with a full-bodied mouthfeel that lingers on the palate. Flavors of ripe cherries, plums, licorice, and forest floor are commonly found in this wine, providing a multi-layered tasting experience. Renato Corino Arborina Barolo is known for its exceptional aging potential. It is recommended to cellar this wine for several years to allow its flavors and aromas to fully develop. With time, the tannins soften, the fruit becomes more integrated, and additional tertiary characteristics, such as truffle and forest floor, may emerge. When pairing Renato Corino Arborina Barolo, consider dishes that can match its intensity and complexity. Traditional Italian cuisine, such as braised meats, game, truffle-based dishes, and aged cheeses, are excellent choices. The wine's robust structure and acidity make it a perfect companion for rich, flavorful dishes.

Kim,
Detailed nose with red fruit, opaque chocolate, and oak, accompanied by a tannic and raw texture with deep fruit, mostly sour cherries, violets, and oak. The freshness and tannins are high, with a dry finish. The glass is nice, and the ageing potential is considerable. The wine has been aged for 2 years in new small French barrels and 1 year in old, large barrels, with a 15.5% abv.

I'm thrilled to finally release it from its cellar confines. After a two-year stint in storage, it's developed a rich, deep flavor profile. The nose is powered by by plum and cherry notes, with a understated trace of pepper. The impression is equally impressive, with a smooth tannin backbone that belies its youth. The follow through is long and satisfying, leaving a lasting sense of earthy, forest, and plum flavors. The aftertaste is equally captivating, inducing a sense of joyful abandon.

Renato Corino Arborina Barolo is praised for its rich, complex flavors of cherry, plum, and oak, with a robust tannic structure. While some find it youthful and vibrant, others suggest it needs time to mature. The wine's smooth finish and aging potential are highlighted, though a few note its high tannins and acidity. Overall, it offers a sophisticated and satisfying experience, especially when paired with rich dishes.
