Chiragino
Smooth, accessible red wine with a rich, fruity profile, featuring accents of cherry, currant, blackberry, and raspberry. Its cohesive structure and soft tannins make it an excellent favorite for everyday drinking. Decant it for a few hours to allow the accents to unfold and the tannins to soften, then enjoy it on its own or with a variety of dishes.
Henkeo
The nose is marked by a dominant boldness of vanilla, with nuanced layers of haziness and cherry. The sophistication of the structure is further enhanced by the inclusion of blackberries, during the vanilla and dry tannins provide a solid foundation. Overall, this Alentejo blend is a decent Portuguese red, but it is essential to allow it to open up properly to fully appreciate its nuances.
A.A
Delicate and polished blend highlighting the best of Alentajian varieties, expertly well integrated with a nuanced nod to the Syrah component. The mouthfeel is concentrated and layered, with a rich ripeness and a suggestion of spice, all wrapped in a silky and effortless finish. A masterful blend, indeed.

Quinta da Fonte Souto Tinto 2017 is praised for its rich, fruity profile with cherry, blackberry, and currant notes. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and complex blend, others find it unremarkable. The wine benefits from decanting, revealing layers of vanilla, oak, and spice. It's considered a polished and opulent Portuguese red, suitable for various occasions.
The wine presents aromas reminiscent of a pine forest, featuring hints of resin, pine needles, and a subtle touch of mint. Additionally, there are undertones of wild fruits and black plums. On the palate, it boasts a creamy texture and delivers well-defined flavors of blackberries and dark fruits, complemented by licorice notes originating from the Syrah component. The wine's polished tannins and the tension created by its excellent acidity enhance its overall freshness and balance. The extended finish suggests promising aging potential in the bottle.
