Duf
Harmonious union of suggestions unfolds with each sip, yielding a deep and polished texture. The initial whispers of cherry and vanilla are quickly replaced by a multi faceted interplay of oak, leather, and graphite, which adds intensity and nuance to the as a whole experience. The ending is long and satisfying, with a mild suggestion of tannins that leave a soft aftertaste. A value-driven displaying that is well worth the price.

Cafe
Concentrated and nuanced wine with a deep, rich color. The palate is characterized by a black currant and cherry forward profile, with a dash of minerality. even as it may have benefited from a longer aging process, it is still a compelling and intense wine. #22 out of WS top 100 2014

Podere Sapaio Sapaio Bolgheri Volpolo is praised for its rich, full-bodied texture and complex flavor profile, featuring notes of blackberry, cherry, leather, and oak. While some appreciate its bold and harmonious blend, others find it lacking in cost-effectiveness. The wine's aging potential and smooth tannins make it a favorite among red wine enthusiasts, though some suggest it may require patience to fully appreciate its nuances.
This Podere Sapaio Sapaio Bolgheri Volpolo is a complex and inviting Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated blend that offers lush aromas of ripe blackberries, blueberries, and currants, along with notes of dark chocolate, licorice, and a hint of earthy spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and balanced, with a core of dark fruit flavors, firm tannins, and a long, lingering finish. Enjoy this delightful Bolgheri wine now or cellar it for a few years to further develop its complexity.
