Wine with a bitter taste, with a limited fruit component, displaying a dry and unbalanced experience.

Wine with a mineral nose, unfortunately, the bottle is empty. A good value for the price, I'd recommend it.

Subtle and enjoyable wine that offers excellent merit for its price. Predominantly composed of Sangiovese, this wine is crafted with a unique blend of wild yeast fermentation and aging in concrete tanks. Unfiltered, it offers a intense and textured flavor profile with accents of red cherry, plum, and spice, accompanied by a gentle licorice undertone. As it ages, understated prune and earthy nuances emerge, tempered by high brightness and well-balanced tannins. A perfect premium for casual gatherings, this wine is unpretentious yet high-quality, making it an excellent bargain for its price.

What the web is saying

This Tuscan blend receives mixed reviews, praised for its value and complex fruit flavors like cherry and plum with spice notes, while criticized for occasional bitterness and unbalanced structure. Enthusiasts highlight its full-bodied character, balanced tannins, and earthy complexity from concrete aging, though recent vintages show inconsistency in fruit expression.

Voss Experts4.5

This Tuscan gem presents a deep garnet hue, revealing its Sangiovese roots. The nose is a harmonious blend of ripe black cherry and plum, intertwined with subtle notes of dried herbs and a hint of leather. On the palate, it showcases a medium-bodied structure with finely integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity that elevates the fruit profile. The mid-palate complexity is underscored by nuances of earthy minerality and a whisper of spice, leading to a lingering finish. This wine exemplifies the finesse and rustic elegance typical of Chianti's esteemed terroir.
