Rich, full-bodied red with a gentle smoothness and a deep, fruity flavor profile, balanced by a vibrant tanginess and a nose that's bursting with red berries
Fyp Achen
Bold and full-bodied wine with a deep, intense red colour and a complex, fruity bouquet. The tongue is well-balanced, with a gratifying burst of flavour that is paired by bright acidity. However, the wine's layers is somewhat lacking, and its earthy flavours dominate the taste experience.

Piekenierskloof Grenache is praised for its rich, full-bodied texture and vibrant red fruit flavors. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and spicy undertones, others note a lack of complexity. The wine's earthy and herbal notes add depth, though opinions vary on its balance. Overall, it's considered a well-crafted and versatile wine, suitable for various occasions.
A luminous ruby hue introduces this Grenache, with an aromatic profile that deftly balances ripe red berries, such as raspberry and cherry, with hints of dried herbs and subtle spice. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing a seamless integration of vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins, which provide structure and depth. Flavors of juicy plum and cranberry are underscored by a whisper of garrigue, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish. This wine exemplifies the elegance and finesse typical of the Piekenierskloof region, offering a compelling expression of terroir and varietal purity, suitable for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
