Meteigne
Delightful Gamay with a rustic charm, boasting earthy nuances and a gentle mushroom strength on the nose. The strawberry and hay nuances are well-balanced, with a clean minerality that lingers, making it a captivating offering for the price.
Llampuga
Fruitier style than Beaujolais, with some unusual fruit tastes like pomegranate, watermelon, cherry jello, and strawberry. The aroma is sweet, but the tongue is dry, like a Gamay should be. A fun wine, but not something I'd drink every day.

Pax Alpine Peaks Gamay Noir is praised for its earthy nuances, strawberry and hay balance, and clean minerality. While some appreciate its fruit-forward profile with pomegranate and watermelon notes, others find it too sweet. The wine's light-bodied, high-acidity character is ideal for warm weather, though not an everyday choice for all. Its rustic charm and crisp finish make it versatile for various pairings.
Exhibiting a vibrant ruby hue, the Pax Alpine Peaks Gamay Noir captivates with its aromatic bouquet of ripe red cherries, wild strawberries, and a whisper of white pepper. The palate is elegantly structured, showcasing a harmonious interplay of bright acidity and silky tannins that underscore its finesse. Layers of cranberry and subtle floral notes unfold, leading to a mineral-driven finish that echoes the granitic soils of its origin. This Gamay Noir exemplifies the varietal's potential in cooler climates, offering a refined expression that is both approachable and complex, making it a compelling choice for discerning palates.
