As the wine opens, whispers of vanilla and baking spice emerge, accompanied by a light dryness. The tail is long and satisfying, with a lingering sweetness that leaves the impression feeling warm and inviting. As the wine continues to mature, it reveals more honey-like notes, which return with a final dry finish.

Clean and well-balanced wine with a citrusy nose, featuring Meyer lemon and apricot whispers on the palate, accompanied by good freshness and light oak undertones, resulting in a delightful and uncomplicated indulging experience.

The oak flavors are a dominant force, with a prominent structure in the finish. The barrel-aging process has imparted a rich, soft texture to the wine, but it's a heavy-handed approach that overshadows the fruit. The fruit notes are muted by the wood, which is a shame. However, the quality of the oak is exceptional, reminiscent of some of the finest Premier Cru wines from Burgundy. A more seamless approach to the oak would elevate the wine to new heights.
