What the web is saying

This Old Vine Chenin Blanc receives praise for its vibrant acidity, balanced citrus/apple flavors, and mineral undertones. While many appreciate its refreshing character and food versatility, some note occasional bitterness or muted fruit expression. Reviews highlight a tension between crisp freshness (especially in younger vintages) and evolving honeyed complexity in aged bottles.

Voss Experts3.8

This Mullineux Kloof Street Old Vine Chenin Blanc is a stellar example of the variety, displaying the classic Chenin Blanc characteristics of ripe green apple, honey, and citrus, with a pleasant hint of minerality. On the palate, it is light and refreshing, with a crisp acidity and a long, lingering finish. This is a great wine for a summer day, perfect for pairing with seafood dishes.
