Bumble Llave
Truly top notch vintage of the Granite CB, boasting a pale straw-yellow hue. Upon the nose, a layered bouquet of honey, apples, peach, melon, and apricot emerges, with a rich and intense texture. The palate is similarly concentrated, with a smooth stability of honey and tropical fruits, accompanied by a clean and graceful acidity. The finale is long and layered, with a rewarding tail that showcases the wine's finesse. A truly outstanding vintage from Mullineux.

Crisp and contenting Chenin Blanc that shines with its delicate mineral notes and honeysuckle undertones. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, with a well blended interplay of crushed rock, salt, and honey. The trail is dry and textured, leaving a smooth aftertaste. A stellar example of Mullineux's expertise, this wine is a must-try for fans of the varietal.

South Africa's Praelum wines showcase a consistent, high-quality approach to winemaking, with a focus on terroir-driven expressions. The three Chenin Blancs on offer are all crafted in the same manner, with whole-bunch pressed and spontaneous fermentation, resulting in a cohesive and elegant style. The differences in soil and terroir are significant, yielding distinct and well-balanced profiles. as I appreciate the quality of these wines, I find the price to be somewhat steep, significantly when compared to more affordable options from other regions.
