The Milton Inn is a lovely, full-bodied establishment.

Straightforward Burgundy with a light cherry note, augmented by a fruity mid-palate. The crispness is slightly off, leaving a lingering highlight on the finish. The body is medium, with a charming texture. Overall, a solid, if unremarkable, wine.

Wine with a very dry and light character, lacking a certain substance of flavor.

Voss Experts4.0

Michel Magnien Côte de Nuits-Villages offers aromas of red berries, cherries, and subtle floral notes, complemented by hints of earth and spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with flavors of ripe raspberries, cranberries, and a touch of minerality. The wine's refined tannins and vibrant acidity provide structure and depth, leading to a long, graceful finish. This Côte de Nuits-Villages pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, and soft cheeses like Camembert. Enjoy it now for its youthful exuberance or cellar for 5-7 years to enhance its complexity and integration.
