Mercouri Estate Foloi is praised for its vibrant citrus and green apple aromas, with a well-balanced blend of Roditis and Viognier grapes. While some appreciate its refreshing and lively character, others find it somewhat one-dimensional. The wine's light body and crisp finish make it ideal for summer days and pairing with light dishes, though its complexity may not satisfy all palates.
Mercouri Estate Foloi reveals a medium straw color. On the nose, it leaps from the glass with attractive aromas of citrus fruits of lemon and grapefruit, along with hints of green apple and flowers. These aromas continue onto the palate, where they are joined by a touch of minerality, stone fruit reminiscent of peach and apricot. These riper flavors are lifted by zesty acidity that adds a lively freshness to the wine. The wine is medium-bodied with a clean and vibrant finish, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.
