Matassa Brutal De Jean-Marc 2020

2020

Bernald

Crisp and refreshing wine journey awaits, with a nose that unfolds like a warm summer day, filled with the sweet and fresh aromas of orange peel, honey, and juicy stone fruits. The mouthfeel is a symphony of flavors, with a seamless seamlessness of stone fruits, pineapples, and oranges, accompanied by a clean zest that cuts through the richness. A truly delightful wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes, offering pork chops and scallops. A fun and smooth highlight for those looking for a lighter, more clean option.

Akamr Jobbins

Deep and enticing nose, with a blend of peach, nectarine, and almond notes, accompanied by a elegant trace of menthol and a touch of pencil shavings. The sensation is rounded and smooth, with hints of kumquat and bitter almond, tempered by a lingering tannin.

2020

Bubuche

Substantial wine with floral and funky undertones, however, is overpowered by a strong chemical acetone that detracts from the broadly experience. Chilling may help temper some of the more aggressive notes, but it's unclear whether this will be enough to salvage the wine. A potentially disappointing conclusion to a promising start.
