Matassa Brutal De Jean-Marc — Rated 4.0 Very Good

Enaka

Delightful and versatile wine that consistently impresses. Its second iteration is even more impressive, with a smooth and nuanced character. The color is a vibrant semi-red hue, and the flavor profile is a masterful blend of orange, apricot, grapefruit, and honey, with soft suggestions of lychee and a suggestion of pepper. The ending is dry and mineral-driven, making it an excellent pairing for fatty dishes like duck. I envision this wine as a true chameleon, capable of complementing a wide range of culinary delights.

Crisp and refreshing wine journey awaits, with a nose that unfolds like a warm summer day, filled with the sweet and fresh aromas of orange peel, honey, and juicy stone fruits. The mouthfeel is a symphony of flavors, with a seamless seamlessness of stone fruits, pineapples, and oranges, accompanied by a clean zest that cuts through the richness. A truly delightful wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes, offering pork chops and scallops. A fun and smooth highlight for those looking for a lighter, more clean option.

A breakfast wine that would cut through the richness of a hearty breakfast and play with the brightness of a fresh fruit salad.
