A vibrant expression of Carignan, this wine unveils a deep ruby hue, inviting with aromas of ripe black cherry, wild herbs, and a whisper of violet. On the palate, it offers a medium-bodied structure with supple tannins and a lively acidity that frames the juicy core of red currant and plum. Subtle notes of garrigue and a hint of graphite add complexity, leading to a refreshing, mineral-driven finish. This wine exemplifies the rustic elegance of the Roussillon region, making it an excellent choice for those seeking an authentic, terroir-driven experience.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
