Lisini Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a highly esteemed wine from the Montalcino region in Tuscany, Italy. This wine is classified as a Riserva, which indicates that it has been aged for a longer period than the standard Brunello di Montalcino. On the nose, it offers an enticing bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, accompanied by floral notes of violets and dried herbs. There may also be hints of forest floor, leather, and earthiness, adding complexity to the aromatic profile. On the palate, this wine showcases a harmonious balance between its fruitiness, acidity, and tannins. The ripe red fruit flavors persist, accompanied by additional layers of spice, balsamic notes, and a touch of minerality. The tannins are typically well-integrated, providing structure and a velvety texture. Lisini Brunello di Montalcino Riserva often exhibits a long and elegant finish, leaving a lasting impression. This wine is known for its aging potential, and it is recommended to cellar it for several years to allow its flavors and aromas to fully develop. Keelyn Dembecki
The wine is a cohesive blend of earthy, leathery, and red plum notes, with a nuanced minerality and a savory undertone. The texture is silky, with a silky ending that is well-balanced and polished. The oak aging adds a sweet and spicy character, but the broadly effect is not overpowering. The acidity and tannins are well-integrated, and the wine is a good representation of its varietal, but it doesn't stand out as an stellar wine.
Teisha
A evolved nose with whispers of cherries, rosemary, and cedar, set against a backdrop of firm tannins and a strong structure. As the wine ages, its rigidity will begin to soften, revealing a more integrated and harmonious character.
Helmutt
Delicate and multi faceted wine with a elegant yet engaging character, featuring a well blended balance of pepper, spice, and berry notes. The tannins are smooth and velvety, and yet the close is long and satisfying. A wine that can be enjoyed now or aged to appreciate its intensity and complexity.
