Les Jamelles Chardonnay Organic Bio 2020

Robust and creamy wine with a polished texture, its pale straw colour is a testament to its refined and delicate character. The buttery flavors on the nose are a hallmark of this wine, with a dense and slightly sweet mouthfeel that coats the palate. The flavours of green apple and honey are expertly balanced, with vanilla and butter undertones adding layers and complexity. This wine is an excellent offering for its price, making it an ideal top pick for summer foods and everyday drinking. It's a perfect pairing for lighter fare, such as salads and grilled meats.

Chardonnay with a pleasing colour, but unfortunately, the nose and taste fell short of expectations. even as I've had the pleasure of trying it, I wouldn't recommend it for future purchases.

The initial experience was quite off, with an unusual taste that lingered from the bottle. A hint of bitter melon was also present, which may have been a contributing factor to the unappealing experience. Furthermore, the bottle itself emitted a pungent barnyard aroma that was noticeable even after storage for four hours. Unfortunately, this unpleasantness persisted upon consumption.
