Dilem
Modern style Cab Franc from Le Macchiole, one of the first established vineyards in the Bolgheri region. A superb wine from a young house, they started in 1994. The wine is remarkably powerful, with an enduring finish, plenty of fruit, and a full-bodied liquorish texture, with concentrated fruit notes, cocoa, and velvety tannins. A truly exceptional wine.

Le Macchiole Paleo is celebrated for its rich, full-bodied profile with flavors of dark fruits, forest floor, and chocolate. While some appreciate its velvety tannins and complex structure, others note a lack of depth in certain vintages. The wine's aging potential and nuanced aromas of herbs and spices are frequently highlighted, making it a favored choice among Cabernet Franc enthusiasts.

Rich and inviting, it is an excellent example of the distinctively mineral character of Bolgheri wines.
