Rich, full-bodied wine with a deep, vibrant red hue, enhanced by light suggestions of orange and spice. The profile is round and velvety, with a focus on ripe, juicy red fruits that are tempered by a judicious evenness of oak.

What the web is saying

Le Grand Noir Pinot Noir is praised for its smooth texture, fruity flavors like cherry and strawberry, and well-integrated oak. Some find it elegant and well-balanced, while others feel it lacks complexity and depth. Its earthy undertones and subtle spice add interest, but opinions vary on its acidity and finish. Overall, it offers good value for its price, appealing to both casual drinkers and Pinot Noir enthusiasts.

Voss Experts4.5

This Le Grand Noir Pinot Noir is an exquisite French red. Its aromas of ripe, dark berries and earthy spices give way to a full-bodied palate of juicy cherry, red currant and subtle dried herbs. Velvety tannins and balanced acidity provide a smooth, ripe finish. Enjoy this Pinot Noir with a variety of dishes, from gamey meats to earthy vegetables.
