The wine's vibrant magenta pigment is matched by its aromatic profile, which unfurls with cinnamon, baked plum, and salt air notes. On the palate, the wine presents a well blended integration of baked plum and blueberry, with elegant accents of vanilla and cinnamon that tantalize the senses. The aftertaste is long and satisfying, with a strong emphasis on vanilla and baked fruits, significantly evident in the Pinot and Oregon Pinot varieties.

Richly layered wine with a deep, plush body and a sophisticated fragrance of red fruits, elegant oak notes, and a long, rewarding finish.

What the web is saying

Lange Pinot Noir Classique is praised for its rich fruit flavors, smooth texture, and elegant balance. Common notes include cherry, raspberry, and earthy undertones, with hints of oak and spice. While some find it velvety and complex, others feel it's occasionally too sweet or lacking depth. Its versatility makes it suitable for various dishes, though some vintages require patience to fully appreciate their complexity.

Voss Experts3.8

This Lange Pinot Noir Classique is an elegant and sophisticated wine with a complex bouquet of ripe cherries, plums, and herbal notes. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and well-structured, with a supple texture and a long, lingering finish. The wine is well-balanced, with firm tannins and refreshing acidity that add complexity and depth. While the aromas and flavors are subtle and nuanced, they come together to create a truly remarkable wine.
