Lange

Lange is a winery founded by Don and Wendy Lange in 1987, with its original thirty-acre parcel in the northern Willamette Valley’s Dundee Hills. Their inaugural 1987 vintage used Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris purchased from neighboring vineyards, and they planted their estate vineyard in 1988. Don is Executive Winemaker, while Wendy guides the team as Managing Partner. Jesse oversees the estate as Managing Director and Executive Winemaker.

Lange Estate Vineyard achieved sustainable viticulture certification through the Low Input Viticulture and Enology (LIVE) program in 2006. Rainwater from the barn roof is reused for irrigation and spraying, while stems, seeds and skins from crush are composted for the vineyard.
