La Playa Viognier 2022

La Playa Viognier is appreciated for its peach, orange, and citrus notes, offering a smooth and zesty experience. While some enjoy its floral accents, others highlight its racy and agreeable nature, making it a delightful choice for those exploring Viognier.

This Viognier presents a luminous straw hue, offering an aromatic bouquet of ripe apricot, honeysuckle, and a whisper of ginger spice. The palate is voluptuous yet balanced, with a creamy texture that unfolds layers of peach and tangerine, underscored by a subtle minerality. A vibrant acidity enlivens the mid-palate, leading to a lingering finish with hints of white pepper and almond. Exemplifying the varietal's hallmark opulence, this wine captures the essence of its terroir, positioning itself as a commendable representation of New World Viognier, ideal for pairing with aromatic Asian cuisine or soft cheeses.
