La Gerla Poggio gli Angeli Sangiovese

Refined and polished Italian red wine with a rich, soft mouthfeel and a elegant fruitiness, featuring plum and cherry whispers with a wisp of earthy undertones, accompanied by a smooth, mellow finish.

Delightful combination of sweet and savory flavors, precisely consistent and harmonious, with a rich and supple texture, this pairing is sure to impress, and would be a exceptional match for a variety of dishes, bringing homemade pizza and pasta, and would elevate the overall culinary experience.

Straightforward yet soft Sangiovese of 2019, boasting a fine freshness of cherries and red berries. However, it falls short in terms of depth, leaving one to question the cost effectiveness for the price. A slight cooling effect during the summer months may be beneficial. In the near future, it is likely to improve, making it a worthwhile investment.
