Kumeu River Village Pinot Noir

Well-balanced entry-level Pinot from Kumeu River, demonstrating good value for its price. The wine's color is a pale ruby red, with a nose that combines wet leaves, bonfire smoke, and red fruit, along with a wisp of spice. The fruit profile is somewhat one-dimensional, with a focus on red cherry, cranberry, and strawberry, but the wine's sophistication is enhanced by the structure of cinnamon and earthy notes. The crispness and tannins are well-balanced, providing a supple and crisp finish. A solid choice for those looking for a entry-level Pinot with good investment for its price.

Really easy New Zealand Pinot Noir Smooth, balanced, well proportioned The nose is nicely perfumed, with violets, raspberry, and some leaves The mouthfeel has a really pleasant flavour set, with a rubarb and sour cranberry combination that taints red cherry Not a huge level of depth, but still enough to make you smile Savoury with some alcohol heat in the end Recommended affordability and quality. Return.

Solid beginning to the evening, with a promising setup that sets the tone for a delightful evening ahead.
