Keenan Napa Valley Merlot is a delightful red wine that showcases the unique characteristics of the Napa Valley region. This Merlot offers a rich and velvety texture, with a deep ruby color that is visually appealing. On the nose, this wine presents an enticing bouquet of ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries, accompanied by subtle hints of vanilla and oak. These aromas create a harmonious balance between fruitiness and complexity. The palate of Keenan Napa Valley Merlot is equally impressive, with flavors that mirror the aromas. The ripe black fruit notes are complemented by layers of dark chocolate, forest floor, and a touch of spice. The wine's well-integrated tannins provide a smooth and elegant mouthfeel, while the vibrant acidity adds freshness and structure. With its medium to full body, Keenan Napa Valley Merlot is a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes. It would be an excellent choice to accompany grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or hearty pasta dishes. Overall, Keenan Napa Valley Merlot is a superb example of a well-crafted Merlot from the Napa Valley. Its combination of fruit-forward flavors, balanced structure, and elegant finish make it a wine worth savoring.

Very good wine, with a inviting opening that left me feeling positively surprised. However, I worry that it may have reached its peak potential a bit too soon. It would have been intriguing to see what it tasted like a year from now.
Aznak
Voluptuous and full-bodied wine with a textured structure, featuring opaque fruit accents and elegant oak undertones. The tannins are well-balanced, providing a refined and comforting finish.
Juannine E-Mail
The wine's deep fragrance of black cherry, blackberry, and cassis is accompanied by a soft coffee note, resulting in a full-bodied profile. A 30-minute decant allows the tones to integrate, and the wine pairs beautifully with a tenderloin.
