Kavaklıdere Altın Köpük Brut is a Turkish sparkling wine praised for its elegant bubbles, floral and fruity aromas, and refreshing citrus and apple notes. While some enjoy its harmonious and polished texture, others find it unbalanced with a bitter note. The wine's innovative production method is noted, but transparency is lacking. Overall, it offers a lively drinking experience with a medium body and steady acidity.
This Turkish sparkling wine presents a pale straw hue with a fine, persistent mousse. On the nose, it offers an elegant bouquet of green apple, white peach, and subtle brioche, underscored by a delicate minerality. The palate is crisp and vibrant, showcasing a harmonious balance of zesty citrus acidity and a creamy texture. Nuances of almond and a hint of chalkiness add depth, leading to a clean, refreshing finish. Altın Köpük Brut is a commendable expression of méthode traditionnelle, aligning well with the finesse found in classic European sparklers, yet with a distinctive Anatolian character.
