Voss Expert tasting note
On the palate, it displays ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, and plum flavors with a hint of earthiness and a touch of smokiness from the oak. The tannins are firm yet smooth and the acidity is well balanced.

Kanonkop Cabernet Sauvignon is celebrated for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of blackcurrant, plum, and oak. Many appreciate its smooth tannins and long finish, while some find it overly sweet or acidic. The wine's complexity and aging potential are frequently highlighted, making it a favorite for special occasions. However, a few reviews mention it may not meet expectations for those seeking a less robust experience.
Kanonkop Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied South African red wine with an inky hue. On the palate, it displays ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, and plum flavors with a hint of earthiness and a touch of smokiness from the oak. The tannins are firm yet smooth and the acidity is well balanced. The finish is long and lingering. An excellent expression of South African terroir.
