Rich, full-bodied wine with a deep, dark ruby hue. The initial nose is defined by by juicy cherry notes, with a understated tartness that adds density and complexity. As the wine unfolds, the undertones become more refined, with a pleasing harmony of sweet and zingy elements. The trail is long and satisfying, with a lingering aftertaste that leaves a agreeable impression.

Il Faggio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a delightful red wine from the Abruzzo region of Italy. On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of ripe dark berries, such as blackberry and black cherry, along with hints of spice and earthiness. The flavors of black fruits continue to dominate, accompanied by notes of black pepper, licorice, and a touch of forest floor. The wine's well-balanced acidity adds freshness and ensures a lingering finish. Il Faggio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes. It complements Italian classics like pasta with tomato-based sauces, grilled meats, and aged cheeses. This wine can be enjoyed now, but it also has the potential to age gracefully for a few years, allowing its flavors to further develop and integrate.
