This deep, inky Petite Sirah from Hawk and Horse Vineyards offers a compelling bouquet of ripe blackberries, cassis, and a hint of violet, underscored by subtle notes of dark chocolate and freshly cracked pepper. On the palate, it reveals a robust structure with firm, well-integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides balance to its concentrated fruit core. The finish is long and layered, with nuances of black plum and a whisper of graphite. This wine exemplifies the bold, yet refined character typical of high-quality Petite Sirah from California's North Coast.

Franc
Robust and well-rounded jam and blackberry combination, with light touches of mocha and vanilla that add substance and warmth. The mouthfeel is substantial, rounding out the suggestions with a wisp of blueberry. Overall, a rewarding and lavish treat.

Rich, full-bodied red wine with a deep, dark color and a mix of intense berries and blackberry flavors. I let it sit for an hour before enjoying it with a hearty rib eye, sautéed mushrooms, and charred asparagus. The pairing was a match made in heaven. The wine held up well to multiple glasses, and its bold suggestions paired the rich, meaty dishes perfectly. It's a versatile wine that can pair well with a variety of full meals, and its rich, fulfilling taste makes it a amazing addition to any meal. I highly recommend it, and I'm already looking forward to buying another bottle.
