Dry, unremarkable Rosé with a soft sweetness that quickly gives way to a lingering aftertaste. The lasting impression is surprisingly crisp, but the ultimately adventure is marred by a lingering astringency that makes it difficult to fully enjoy. The quality of the appellation is a major concern, as the grapes and wine production methods may not be up to par. This is a hard pass, even for a fan of the Whispering Angel. The price is also a major turn-off, making it a poor offering for the region. A high-risk, high-reward selection that falls short of expectations.
