Alecto
Delicate and elegant wine with a light garnet hue, displaying a gentle and elegant expression of cherry and rose petal notes, which unfold upon decantation for a brief period. The flavor is well-balanced, with a seamless interplay of flavors, but ultimately, it feels somewhat one-dimensional, with the aromas and nuances blending together in a way that doesn't quite reveal the wine's true profoundness and complexity. A pleasant, yet somewhat restrained, finish.
Sirasit
The estate's flagship Barolo, a prime example of the region's finest wines, boasts a commanding weight on the hillside, with a commanding view of the surrounding landscape. The soil, a rich blend of clayey loam and limestone, provides a solid foundation for the wine's structure and minerality. The 30-month aging in Slavonian oak barrels adds a smooth body and a understated hint of sweetness. The fermentation, spontaneous and free of oak influence, is a testament to the winemaker's commitment to traditional methods. The result is a wine that is both powerful and refined, with a silky velvety lasting impression and a lingering expression of the terroir. A true benchmark for Barolos, this wine is a must-try for any connoisseur.
Yvette
Concentrated and dimensional Barolo with a chalky nose and earthy undertones. The fruit is red and the impression is layered, with chalky tannins and a long finish. The winemaker has employed traditional methods and organic viticulture, resulting in a unique and captivating Barolo. The high elevation and less common cru contribute to a bright acidity, making this a impressive example of the region's best.

Giulia Negri Barolo Marassio is praised for its elegance, with cherry and rose petal notes, and a smooth, velvety body. While some find it profound with earthy and woody tones, others note a lack of complexity and a one-dimensional finish. The wine's minerality and traditional winemaking methods are appreciated, though some vintages show muted flavors. Overall, it pairs well with rich foods.
