Rich, full-bodied medium garnet with a classy nose, featuring a consistent balance of tar, sweet fennel/anise, and floral notes. A smooth polished body is highlighted by a rich, dark fruit flavor profile, with raspberry cream and chocolate. The profile is well-balanced, with a supple finale that lingers. A lengthy, pleasing experience. A true gem, but not without its flaws.
