Complex and exciting wine with a rich, mellow tactile quality and a deep, concentrated color. The oak smoke and deep fruit layers are well-balanced, but there's something gentle and interesting that's hard to put your finger on. It's a bit like a warm spice or a trace of menthol, but not quite. I find it to be a pleasing and engaging wine that's not too fruit-forward, making it a fantastic favorite for those who prefer a more mild taste experience. Overall, I'd highly recommend it.

What the web is saying

Gentleman's Collection Red Blend is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of oak, chocolate, and fruit like cherry and plum. While some appreciate its smooth texture and balance, others find it overly sweet or lacking in complexity. The wine's affordability and versatility make it a popular choice for casual occasions, though the bourbon cask finish divides opinion.

Voss Experts3.8

Lindeman's Gentleman's Collection Red Blend is a charming combination of lush ripe fruits, liquorice, and a hint of spice. On the nose, aromas of blackberry, plum, and raspberry are complemented by subtle notes of pepper, clove, and leather. On the palate, these flavors carry through to create a full-bodied, balanced, and smooth experience. The finish is long and lingering, with a pleasant hint of oak. Enjoy this delightful blend with a dinner of grilled meats, pasta dishes, or warm crusty bread.
