Gaja Dagromis Barolo 2021

Gaja Dagromis Barolo is celebrated for its rich, full-bodied character, with notes of cherry, leather, and earthy undertones. Many appreciate its complex structure and long finish, while some find it lacks the depth of other Barolos. The wine's tannins are often described as firm yet smooth, enhancing its aging potential. While some enjoy its immediate drinkability, others suggest decanting for full expression.

This Gaja Dagromis Barolo is a classic expression of Barolo with its intense aromas of rose, violets, and cherries that are complemented by dark spices and a touch of tar. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated with ripe, yet firm tannins that provide a powerful structure. Its complexity is enhanced by notes of leather and forest floor, which linger on the long finish. A timeless Barolo with excellent aging potential.
