Aasta
Truly exceptional vintage of this Rhone blend from Conor McMahon of Fulldraw, on Anderson Rd. near Booker. His wines are a testament to his skill and dedication, with a remarkable nose of intricate aromas and a sophisticated palate. The tannins are silky smooth, and the acidity is crisp and refreshing, making this a truly comforting experience. A memorable vintage, with a long and delightful finish.
Floralie
Vintage that exceeded expectations, but ultimately fell short of its full potential. The aging process was expected to take several years, but it was opened prematurely, resulting in a tight finish. Despite being still good, it failed to reach the level of a $100 bottle. A regrettable mistake, one that highlights the importance of patience and proper handling.
Mnr
Well-balanced coffee with a rich, smooth mouthfeel, balanced by a long lasting impression and a crisp, bracing acidity. The hints are fruit-forward, with a nice backbone of tanginess and a pure, unadulterated taste.

Fulldraw Vineyard Chopping Block is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with flavors of flinty meat, cigars, and cola. While the 2017 vintage is noted for its silky tannins and crisp acidity, the 2018 vintage was opened too early, leading to a tight finish. Consumers appreciate its complex aromas and long, satisfying finish, though some advise patience for full potential.
Exhibiting a deep garnet hue, the Fulldraw Vineyard Chopping Block presents a compelling bouquet of ripe blackberries, cassis, and a hint of graphite, underscored by subtle nuances of forest floor and cedar. On the palate, this wine reveals a robust structure with well-integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides a seamless balance to its concentrated fruit core. Layers of dark chocolate and espresso emerge mid-palate, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish. This wine exemplifies the quintessential Paso Robles style, offering both power and finesse, and promises excellent aging potential for those with patience.
