This Frey Organic Zinfandel is a medium-bodied wine with a complex aroma of ripe blackberry, licorice, and mild oak. On the palate, it has a juicy and well-balanced mouthfeel with a pleasant finish of ripe raspberry and black pepper. Its tannins are smooth and supple, making this an easy-drinking and enjoyable wine. Enjoy with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.

Still a loyal fan of Frey. Had a few more years. And kinds. Always a reliable favorite for organic and vegan classics. Fruity yet peppery finish.

I generally advise against opting for organic wines, as they often fall short in terms of body and consistency. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this particular wine, which successfully transformed the typical licorice/leather touches into a sweet vanilla flavor profile. in contrast it didn't quite hit the mark in terms of tartness and spice, it was still a decent effort. I wouldn't recommend it, but I'd be willing to sell it to someone looking for a lighter-bodied, organic Zinfandel.

Frey Organic Zinfandel offers a mix of opinions. Many appreciate its fruity, peppery finish and organic credentials, while some find it lacks body and complexity. The wine features notes of leather, vanilla, and chocolate, with a light, approachable body. Some enjoy its floral and earthy tones, but others feel it falls short in tartness and spice. Overall, it's seen as a decent, if not exceptional, organic choice.
