François Crochet Sancerre Rouge is praised for its earthy and sweet notes, with hints of citrus, cocoa, cherry, and strawberry. While some appreciate its vibrant ruby color and lively, crisp quality, others find the cherry and raspberry notes muted. It pairs well with fish and spicy dishes, offering a dry, tannic finish. The wine's complexity and mineral structure are often highlighted.
This François Crochet Sancerre Rouge has a deep ruby hue and a nose of ripe red berries, cherries, and violets. On the palate, you'll find intense flavors of blackberry, cranberry, and raspberry, complemented by a hint of forest floor and fresh herbs. The medium body and well-integrated tannins make for a long, smooth finish. Enjoy this well-balanced French red with grilled meats, roast vegetables, and creamy cheeses.
