Voss Expert tasting note
The nose is a harmonious medley of ripe black cherry, wild raspberry, and subtle hints of forest floor, underscored by a whisper of cedar.

This wine's effervescence is quite pronounced, and I would describe it as a sparkling wine. Although I find the bitterness to be a welcome accompaniment in certain dishes, the bracing quality level and carbonation make it acrid. I appreciate the emphasis on natural wines, and I hope the industry will soon establish clear guidelines for definitions, qualifications, and labeling. The label should clearly indicate the grape variety used and the wine's color, which is a profound red.

Clean and contenting combination of flavors, with a perfect evenness of sweet and savory notes. The addition of baked sweet potato and sweet potato soup elevates the dish, at the same time baked chicken provides a rewarding protein component. Overall, a well-rounded and fulfilling meal.
Hercie
Refreshing and lively red with a strong and balanced structure, presenting a excellent combination of acidity and tannins that provide a delightful punch. The wine also exhibits a subtle minerality that adds depth and complexity, making it a charming and engaging enjoying experience.

Forlorn Hope Queen Of The Sierra Red is a lively and complex wine with a mix of positive and negative reviews. Many appreciate its vibrant fruit flavors, balanced acidity, and minerality, while some find it overly tart or lacking in body. The wine's natural and unfiltered qualities are praised, though its effervescence and bitterness are divisive. Overall, it offers a unique and engaging drinking experience.
This vibrant blend from the Sierra Foothills showcases a deep ruby hue, inviting exploration. The nose is a harmonious medley of ripe black cherry, wild raspberry, and subtle hints of forest floor, underscored by a whisper of cedar. On the palate, it reveals a medium-bodied structure with silky tannins and a lively acidity that frames the fruit-forward core. The finish is enduring, with a mineral edge and a touch of spice, reflecting the unique terroir. This wine exemplifies the balance and finesse characteristic of the region, offering both immediate appeal and potential for short-term aging.
