Voss Expert tasting note
The nose is a captivating blend of black cherry, plum, and violet, underscored by a subtle earthiness. On the palate, it reveals a medium-plus body with well-integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity that enlivens the dark fruit core.

Milexa
Bright and crisp wine with a delightful blackberry and cherry flavor profile, enhanced by a soft herbal note suggestive of rosemary, and a smooth, accessible tannic structure. A perfect pairing for a warm evening with friends, especially when enjoyed with homemade Za.
S&G
Rich, bold purple pigment with a soft sheen. The nose is initially sweet, with a suggestion of bubble gum, but quickly gives way to a brown sugar undertone. The tannic structure is evident, but the liveliness dominates, overpowering the other flavors. The sensation is light, with a focus on cherry, oak, and rich fruit, but the lasting impression is abrupt and lacks depth. The aftertaste is rough and fleeting, with a lingering aftertaste of tobacco. The altogether impact is one of stability and restraint, with a nuance of complexity. The trail is well-integrated, and the zest is in check, making this a well-crafted wine.
Rosimare
Decent raclette wine from California, despite not being the top elite from Savoie. The Charbono, also known as Bonarda in Argentina, was a comforting match for the cheese, especially when it was paired with it.

Folk Machine Charbono is praised for its rich, bold flavors of blackberry, cherry, and plum, with smooth tannins and a crisp acidity. While some find its earthy undertones and herbal notes delightful, others feel the finish lacks depth and is abrupt. The wine's unique character, with hints of forest floor and pepper, offers a complex experience, making it a versatile choice for various pairings.
This Charbono presents a deep, inky hue, indicative of its robust character. The nose is a captivating blend of black cherry, plum, and violet, underscored by a subtle earthiness. On the palate, it reveals a medium-plus body with well-integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity that enlivens the dark fruit core. Hints of black pepper and anise add complexity, while a mineral edge provides a refreshing lift. The finish is long and harmonious, echoing the wine's fruit and spice elements. A noteworthy example of Charbono, showcasing the varietal's potential in California's terroir.
