Guigal is a magnificent blend of intense aromas and flavors. On the nose, it displays aromas of blackberry, cassis, forest floor, and leather.

Henlo
Hermitage is a true gem, its nuance and strength a testament to the winemaker's skill. A nuanced beginning, gradually unfolding into a voluptuous tapestry of flavors, with traces of leather, spice, and red and black fruits. A rewarding weight, but each successive bite a thrilling experience, full of surprises.
Bowers
Lengthy decant is recommended, but after 7 hours, this wine is nothing short of exceptional. It recalls the concentrated LaLa level, and I prefer it over the few vintages of JL Chave I've encountered, which often favor a longer decant time. A worthwhile revisit is in order, and I'll pay closer attention to the aging process.
Gurdon
Wine of remarkable quality, with a lush and layered character that has been well-maintained, retaining its freshness and depth. The delicate subtle flavors of oak, pepper, black fruit, and nutmeg add a sophisticated nuance to this top notch wine.

E. Guigal Ermitage Ex-Voto is celebrated for its complex flavors of black and red fruits, leather, and spices, with a smooth, full-bodied texture. While some appreciate its aging potential and nuanced profile, others find it less rich on the palate. The wine's elegant structure and long finish make it a favorite among Syrah enthusiasts, though it may require patience to fully appreciate its depth.
This Ermitage Ex-Voto from E. Guigal is a magnificent blend of intense aromas and flavors. On the nose, it displays aromas of blackberry, cassis, forest floor, and leather. On the palate, it is full-bodied and robust with a lovely, velvety texture and notes of dark chocolate, mineral, and spice. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of sweet oak and forest floor. A truly beautiful and complex wine.
