Youthful wine that benefits from gentle handling. Its nose has already begun to unfurl, revealing bright red cherry notes. The mouthfeel is smooth, with a delightful evenness of red fruit, cola, and a touch of acidity. As it ages, I expect this wine to develop further, revealing more structure and depth. It's a promising young wine that shows exceptional potential.

What the web is saying

Dutton-Goldfield Dutton Ranch Pinot Noir is praised for its elegant blend of cherry, raspberry, and earthy undertones, offering a smooth, velvety texture. While some appreciate its balanced fruit and spice notes, others find it slightly lacking in complexity. The wine's refined tannins and long, satisfying finish make it a versatile choice for pairing with various dishes.

Voss Experts4.0

This Dutton-Goldfield Dutton Ranch Pinot Noir is a complex, well-balanced wine that offers intense aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and spice. On the palate, these flavors combine with hints of cedar, earth, and forest floor. The tannins are firm but integrated, and the finish is long and lingering. Overall, this is a delicious example of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, and a great choice for any occasion.
