The nose is dominated by a complex array of aromas, with tones of cherry, plum, and pepper that are similar to of a well-worn saddle. The leather and iron hints add dimension and a sense of age, though the understated suggestion of something else suggests a deep and deep character.

Durigutti Malbec 5 Suelos is praised for its rich blend of blackberry, plum, and cherry, with hints of cinnamon, sandalwood, and pepper. While some appreciate its full-bodied, smooth texture and balanced tannins, others note occasional inconsistency and sourness. The wine's elegant finish and complex aroma are highlights, though a few find it slightly unbalanced. Overall, it's a well-regarded choice for Malbec enthusiasts.
